S.E.S.

S.E.S. is a South Korean girl group that debuted November 1, 1997 with three members: Bada, Eugene, and Shoo and disbanded in 2002. Their debut was a fresh, upbeat, Rnb inspired song that became a hit, selling 650,000 copies and earning the title of the third best-selling album in in South Korea by a female group. This is a video of them preforming their debut single "Cause I'm Your Girl" on M-Net. In my opinion, this preformance shows a uniqe charm that the group had/has.

They have had an undeniable impact on modern kpop with groups like Red Velvet, Wonder Girls, and SNSD have preformed covers of their songs. Out of the 7 studio albums released by them, my 2 favorites are Choose My Life-U and Love.

Choose My Life-U is the fifth studio album in the discography of S.E.S. Before the release, Choose My Life-U had over 300,000 pre-orders and after it was released it was the number-one best-selling record of February, 2002 in Korea. Along with this, the album became the 11th best-selling album of 2002 with over 406,000 copies sold.
